PRINTMAKERS’ WILDLIFE EXHIBITION
This now annual exhibition will see the gallery totally given over to the printmakers’ artform. A celebration of the diversity of style and technique that printmaking allows, there will be work from top wildlife printmakers from across the UK including many members from the Society of Wildlife Artists.

A celebration of the printmaker's art in many forms: linocuts, etchings, mezzotints, aquatints, collagraphs and more. The entirety of the gallery will be completely devoted to original prints, showcasing the talents of many of the UK’s reknowned wildlife printmakers.

This very popular annual exhibition sees the whole gallery devoted to the printmakers’ artform, in all its diversity of styles, techniques and colours. As a special feature, this year the exhibition includes nine, now rarely available linocuts from the late Robert Gillmor MBE.

This year’s ever-popular annual exhibition returns to Birdscapes for early autumn. As the importance of wildlife has become ever more apparent, this timely celebration of original wildlife prints includes linocuts, wood engravings, etchings, screenprints and more, highlighting original works from printmakers with a diverse range of styles. Come and enjoy a gallery full to the brim with the graphic, colourful delights of the printmakers’ art.
Birdscapes Gallery is friendly and welcoming, and located in a converted barn in the heart of the beautiful surroundings of north Norfolk. With a host of new works from a wide range of artists, the gallery will be stocked with art inspired by winter including original prints, paintings and sculptures – from the affordable to the extravagant!

Birdscapes will be at Pensthorpe Natural Park for the Bird & Wildlife Fair on the 18th and 19th of May 2019. This new event is a celebration of nature in Norfolk, including many experts from connected fields, and the exhibition provides great opportunity to discover a wide range of contemporary bird and wildlife art from all over the UK.

The birds of wetlands have an enduring appeal. They inhabit stunning wild places and are often in numbers that provide pure, breathtaking spectacle. As a celebration of these most wonderful and often hidden water-filled places, the gallery will feature the magnificent birds and wildlife of coast, lake, stream and marsh, in an inspirational collection of original prints and paintings.
This summer the gallery will be filled with works from a glorious gamut of gallery artists, including David Cowdry and John Threlfall SWLA. As well as the main barn space there is also a generous gallery devoted to a wide variety of original wildlife printmaking.
Midday on Saturday 26th May marks the opening of the much anticipated Printmakers’ Wildlife exhibition. The gallery will be showing a celebration of original prints: linocuts, wood engravings, etchings, screenprints and more, displaying original works from printmakers with a diverse range of styles.
Spring in the Air starts midday Saturday 24th March and runs until April 15th. An exhibition to celebrate the season of new life, the gallery will feature a selection of paintings, original prints & sculptures that reflect the soul-lifting natural sights & sounds of spring.
With a host of new works from a variety of artists, including eight SWLA members, the gallery will also be stocked with a great range of affordable ideas for Christmas: books, paintings, original prints, sculptures, giclée prints and our exclusive range of Robert Gillmor Christmas cards.
WETLAND WILDLIFE
This mixed exhibition will feature works from a wide variety of painters, printmakers and sculptors. Come and share the wildlife delights of rivers, fens, marshes, broads, lakes and more through the eyes of some of the UK’s top wildlife artists.
